Slow going

With the cold front coming through the catfish bite has slowed down with the best bite being on the mud flats or wind blown mud flats in 2-8 feet of water.  Fished yesterday and caught 10 nice blue cats but the bite was slower than it had been earlier in the week.  Water temperature in the main lake is 50 degrees and was 47-49 degrees in the back of the coves due to the cold rain runoff.  The best bite was on whole, live shad 5-7 inches long.  Saw lots of spoonbill on boats also.
